What is Mindfulness About
Mindfulness is about living fully. It offers us the possibility to live our lives more inline with how we would like them to be - learning to become more balanced and resilient, allowing for calmness and space, to enjoy our present.
Gradually we learn to direct our attention, in a more focused way, enabling clarity and vision. This not only helps us to think more clearly, to be appreciative of what is going well, but to respond in the here and now, to life‘s challenges.
We learn to acknowledge and accept our feelings, thoughts and sensations, to not be overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us. We learn to be kinder and more compassionate to ourselves and to others, with less guilt and judgement.
Slowly, with mindfulness, confidence builds we have a greater sense of self.
If you have worries, anxiety, depression, anger, illness or stress, scientific research has shown Mindfulness contributes to reducing the effects of stress in the body.
“A practical approach, for everybody, to be used on an everyday level.”
Give yourself a moment to just be. A moment to let go of the past, let go of the future and just be.
Mindfulness is about coming to things a different way.
Be still, breathe, just for this moment.
Mindfulness provides a simple but powerful route for getting ourselves unstuck, back in touch with our own wisdom and vitality.
Start today with being kind to yourself.
